Early Childhood Education
My credits from Clark State transfered easily to Antioch University Midwest and I had heard many great things about the school. I like going to a school where I can think for myself. Starting the Early Childhood Education program was an important next step for me. I love to work with children and I believe in the proper development of the whole child. Being a part of the development of children from an early age is important to me, because I believe in the educational process.
The coursework at AUM is helping me expand my thinking about subjects like history. I also worked on my own biography, which helped me to learn a lot about myself. A requirement of this general education course was a public reading and that was something that I always caused me anxiety. Now I can say that public speaking was an obstacle that I have learned to overcome at Antioch.
